Normally my phone eats first but my Lamb Curry Garlic Naan Taco looked so scrumptious I just couldn't help but tear off a piece of that freshly baked garlic naan! The lamb curry itself was also quite delicious with a surprisingly generous portion for something simply billed as a "Taco"! The service is also very quick & simple and I preferred the private outdoor seating which offers a nice view of the beautiful neighborhood! Can't wait to try all their options!

I anticipated an intriguing fusion of Indian and Mexican cuisines, but my visits left me underwhelmed. Despite the buzz on social media, the reality fell short of expectations. I visited Taco Mahal twice, hoping for a distinct blend of flavors, but instead found a standard offering with minimal innovation. The guacamole, though creamy and fine, did little to enhance the dishes, which felt more like traditional Indian fare with a hint of Mexican influence rather than a true fusion. The curry lacked the pungent depth expected from Indian cuisine, and the chicken was dry. The daal was notably bland and under-seasoned. On the plus side, portion sizes were decent for the price. However, with numerous other Indian restaurants in the area offering more robust flavors, Taco Mahal didn't stand out. Seating was limited, and I observed many guests waiting for a table. Service was efficient, with food arriving in about 10 minutes. Taco Mahal is a decent option if you're in the area. Note that there are no bathrooms available for guests, which is worth considering before you go.

1st off, the staff member taking orders was nice, polite, professional & made us feel welcomed. The inside is fairly small, but that's to be expected & there was plenty of outdoor seating. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer & Samosas, all 3 were fantastic!! The addition of a small portion of baby arugula, grated cabbage, & a small scoop of guac were great additions. The dishes had a nice amount of heat & were packed with flavor. The rice was a bit bland, but mixed with everything else, it was fine. I wish I was back in NY so I could try more! Next trip, I'll definitely be back!
